Drew – Not just any other.

I’m very far behind in my blog now. As you can see the last post was February. So much things has happened since then. Let’s see now, what has changed or happened since February. I will make a summary of it here. February till April was pretty uneventful. Well, other than struggling in Quantitative Methods. Arghh, I don’t think I have the understanding to do this but all this understanding can be learned through practices right and concentrating more on work instead of gaming. I had my exams from May till June. Well, let’s just say I will never do last minute study ever again (HOPEFULLY)

One funny thing we did for group studies in exam was using mahjong paper and writing notes and then pasting it on the wall. Li Theng went bonkers and followed us but she went to the extreme. Her room and the upstairs hall was filled with her Chemistry and some Physics notes. We also used the sliding door and scribbled it with notes using a white board marker. Kinda cool la. But after 2 papers we gave up. Suffice to say I made it pass 2^nd year without having to re-sit for any papers. Also had Cze Wien & Michelle’s birthday dinner at Jack’s Place.

Although my exams were in May, it was also one of the most memorable and cherished months in my life. 4 words to say, I love you dear. Went for Beauty and the Beast Musical in June @ KLCC. Pretty damn good for a musical. Very good coordinations with everything.

I started working for Star Cruise as cheap labour in June and I’m going to finish soon, roughly 2 more weeks. The office is in Wisma Genting, KL. Not much to say about my work, very boring work. I would be keying in database and comments of passengers on board the cruise ships.

Some comments were good, some were bad. Overall depends on people’s luck. If they were lucky, they would be getting good treatment otherwise they would normally just get normal treatment. It’s amazing how some people can complain about the smallest of things. No toothbrush in the bathroom, not enough towels, food is cold. Oh my, what a bunch of rich people. Also finding myself addicted to Coffee Bean now. There’s a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at the ground floor of Wisma Genting. So far I had taken 3 drinks and 1 breakfast there. Very expensive, so I think I better stop, says myself.

Also started watching Star Trek Voyager during the holidays. Since my bro actually bought the complete series, all 7 seasons. Not many friends that are trekky fans. I see no point in not watching it during my holidays. Quite an old series already. However, this is also bad for me since I sleep like 2am watching this show and waking up at 7/6.30 am to start my work. Working in KL is bad, the traffic I mean. You get to be stuck in the jam for long periods of time. Haha, thank goodness I don’t drive to work. It takes 18 minutes from KL Sentral to Tmn Paramount. That’s how bored I was so I timed it on the way home.

Had dinner for my birthday with my friends at Bubba’s Gump at the Curve. The place was nice, however the food was not that great. Will post up a pic or two soon. After dinner, we headed to my place for some cake session. Oreo Cheesecake! Damn syok if you ask me but I can’t eat that much. So I had to eat it over a period of a few days.

After the cake, we sat down watched abit of TV, stoned abit and they left soonafter for show. Thanks everyone for the great time I had!

The week after that was Karl Son’s birthday BBQ dinner. After work I followed my sis in law home then rushed to Karl’s place. Supposed to be there the latest mana tahu I’m not. Alot of sausages, pork chops, bbq chicken and detergent smelling marshmallows. Eat and chat later had a trial run on the roulette. An interesting thing to play.

One day of Raya holiday and I’ve already gone back to HELP once… Grazy me. Going back there for Ping-pong with my friend Jing. Also met some people juniors and Tai Ko’s in HELP. The place hasn’t changed, still looks bad but the people change. New intakes taking over the scene already. Met a few A-level friends there studying LAW in HELP again. HELP!!!! Played Table Tennis for about 4 hours and at the same time, changed my rubber for my bat to a new one. DAMN it’s nice.
Andro Revolution Fire. What a gay name for a HT rubber. This rubber cost me a small bomb but it’s super nice to use. For those who don’t play Table Tennis you won’t faham. Yang, if you are reading this, you should get this ! haha ! but it’s quite pricey la.. about rm100. Hope this feeling lasts!! haha the Tension of the rubber I mean.

Uni starts next wednesday. So I will have a few days to do some reading and catch up with my studies. Haha, that’s about it for today.

Well, I’m back home in PJ now..This past 2 days has been kind of crappy ! Had to settle all my Individual and Group Projects. Here’s the list of grades and marks for all 6 modules(subjects) this semester. Not complaining, it’s kinda fun actually.

Financial Accounting – 100% Exam ,
Computer in Business -80% group project (7ppl) , 20% C.lab exam using Excel,
Business Law – 100% Exam ,
Studying Organizations – 100% Individual Assignments,
Entrepreneurship in Business – 40 % individual Assignment, 45% Group project, 15% some online questionnaire, Economics A – 25% individual assignment, 75% exam.

Yeah, that’s what my course outline looks like.. cool huh.. Especially Entrepreneurship… our lecturer wants us to come up with an Blue Ocean Invention !!! She’s got to be kidding me.. If we could do that, We won’t studying in NUBS already !!! ( Blue Ocean means a new invention that’s not even existed before) Well, we actually came up with an idea after doing some group Brainstorming.. Invention = Classified & Confidential.. Hope it’s not out there yet..

Took a picture while taking the exit stairs to the Orange Building ( Social Science) and I got a few snapshots with my k750i on a clear day the week before. Never even had this kind of day for Monday and only awhile for Tuesday(stormed in the evening)

Also last week back at home we had a Birthday dinner to celebrate Vincent’s Birthday at New Paris Restaurant in SS2. for more info you can visit my friends site at www.kinz.wordpress.com . There are some pretty amazing pictures of the food we ate, Not too mention the food was good. Not the greatest though. For some reason, the food there is quite famous. Recently, a friend gave me this sticker card which was free with some DIGI thing. of the Ratatouille, but looking really Wrong !!! Man, you gotta be kidding me .. HAHAHA!!! cannot disclose the name of the person for safety reasons. haha!!

Things that made my day bad today – Woke up with Flu and slight cough, waited for some ass carpenters supposed to come at 2pm to fix the blinds, but came at close to 4 pm when I was just about to leave for home. Piece of crap, On the way home, had to endure some Crazy Ass Storm like Hurricane. Visibility was like 10 meters I kid you not. Then the past 2 days no Internet. Upon reaching Damansara, Got stuck in jam for 1 hour just to fetch my friends back. Already with the flu. Left at 5.00 reached back 7.30.. This few things made my day horrible.. But after eating dinner and sleeping.. I feel so much better..

Time to look forward into the future..

I’m going back to the past basically cos i have some pics i can use so i’ll use it.. rawr!!! Not too long ago, I bought a Keyboard for myselft, Saitek Eclipse II. It’s good.. trust me, actually even if it’s not good for what I paid, it’s good.. hah, kidding. It costs RM200+ by the way. It has a silver border with rubberized feet for better grip and the keys are all spaced out pretty well. Typing is also very quiet. NICE!

The best part is it illuminates with 3 different colour settings. The letters on the keys are laser etched. Cool EH!!! check this out, I think it goes nice with my Razer Krait. It goes nicer when it’s red. Well, the pics are kind of blurry cos i’m not good at it. Still learning slowly.

Haha, I brought all this to Semenyih with me. but I do not always use the keyboard. Unless I am playing or doing alot of typing. Then on the Saturday b4 i left for UNMC, I went for Msia WCG 07. to play!!! can you believe that? I played Starcraft.Well, of course I got my ass kicked but I know I didn’t play my best. Well nice to see so many STARCRAFT gamers out there still.

Well, Kahyang, my friend and I did have fun though.. We watched the stage match Malaysia vs Vietnam for starcraft. quite an interesting game, thing to see in such a big screen.. Felt like those Koreans who watch Starcraft as a national sport.. amazing!
